About Us

Boys enjoy Cub Scouts because Cub Scouting is FUN! Cub Scouts have so much fun, they don't even realize that along the way, they develop character, citizenship, understanding, sportsmanship, leadership . . . the list goes on and on!!

Pack 1999 is a large, active Pack. We have fun racing Pinewood Derby cars, doing service projects, racing Pushmobiles, having pool parties, doing fundraisers, having Pack and Den Meetings, learning about stuff, earning neat badges, and you can, too! We can do so many fun things because parents are quick to help! Volunteers make things happen!!

Families with boys in 1st - 5th grade are invited to click "Contact Us" at the left . . . one of our Leaders will be in touch soon. If your son is older, you're welcome to contact us about Boy Scouts, too. We'll put you in touch with some of our friends at Boy Scout Troops in the area.

Cub Scout Promise I promise to do my best To do my duty to God and my country, To help other people, and To obey the Law of the Pack.

Law of the Pack The Cub Scout follows Akela. The Cub Scout helps the pack go. The pack helps the Cub Scout grow. The Cub Scout gives goodwill.

Cub Scout Motto Do Your Best

The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America  To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

From Scouting.org, the official BSA Web site:

Cub Scouts. Do Your Best. Have Fun Doing It.

The best way to find out what you do best is to do it. Swing a bat. Pitch a tent. Build a pinewood derby car. Cub Scouts are at that magical age where everything is new and possible and, most important, fun. They live in a world of "firsts"—first home run, first campfire, first checkered flag—where their game plan is their imagination. Their most valuable reward is the friends they make for life and a parent's proud smile. These are invaluable experiences that can be had in Scouting. These are life lessons that transform today's Cub Scouts into tomorrow's Boy Scouts.
